As the primary keyboardist in TANGOLUNA, Tim Alleyne's contribution to the band is
his unique blend of non-sequenced synth parts, full Hammond swirls,
tasty piano riff's and punchy natural brass sounds.
Born of West Indian parentage, Tim began playing the family piano
at a very young age and eventually under the tutelage of renowned
Musical Director Trevor Payne, he developed an aptitude for a wide variety of musical styles.
His unique style, which flourished from his mixed Barbadian and Canadian cultural background,
made him a hot commodity, which led to work with a number of successful
live and studio projects throughout North America.
Along the way, Tim has managed successful stints with a host of diverse groups
whose styles have covered the entire musical spectrum:
Jazz, Blues, Soul, R&B, Rock, Reggae, Calypso, and Classical.
Tim's easygoing personality, soulful vocal stylings, boundless virtuosity
on the keyboard, and ability to play assorted percussive instruments combine to
make him a dynamic force in the wall of sound that is - TANGOLUNA.
